How to Do Griha Pravesh Pooja (Housewarming Ritual)

Griha Pravesh Pooja is performed before entering a new house to purify the space and invoke positive energy.

Purpose: Cleanse the home of negative energy and attract prosperity.
Time: On an auspicious muhurat (usually decided by a priest). Samagri: Kalash, coconut, mango leaves, turmeric, kumkum, rice, diya, ghee, milk, camphor, tulsi leaves, dhoop, Ganesh idol.

Steps Overview:

1. Break a coconut at the entrance before stepping in.
2. Place the kalash with mango leaves and coconut near the main pooja area.
3. Boil milk in the new kitchen as a symbol of abundance.
4. Light a diya in the kitchen and at the main entrance.
5. Offer prayers to Vastu Purush and perform Ganesh Pooja.
