How to Do Diwali Laxmi Pooja

Laxmi Pooja on Diwali is performed to invite wealth, success, and positivity into the household. It is observed on the evening of Diwali before lighting diyas.

Purpose: Invoking Goddess Laxmi for blessings and prosperity.
Time: Pradosh Kaal (after sunset). Samagri: Laxmi-Ganesh idols, kalash, ghee diya, haldi, kumkum, coins, sweets, rice, agarbatti, dhoop, camphor, lotus flowers, red cloth.

Steps Overview:

1. Clean and decorate the pooja area with rangoli and flowers.
2. Place idols on a red cloth, facing east.
3. Perform Ganesh Pooja first.
4. Offer haldi, kumkum, flowers, and sweets to Goddess Laxmi.
5. Light diyas and perform the Laxmi Aarti.
6. Offer prasad and light fireworks.
